rudimentary ruminant remnants

rudimentary: involving or limited to basic principleselating to an immature, undeveloped, or basic form.

ruminant: a contemplative person; a person given to meditation, an even-toed ungulate mammal that chews the cud regurgitated from its rumen. The ruminants comprise the cattle, sheep, antelopes, deer, giraffes, and their relatives


remnant: a part or quantity that is left after the greater part has been used, removed, or destroyed, a small minority of people who will remain faithful to God and so be saved (in allusion to biblical prophecies concerning Israel).
